Terms of Use
These terms apply to the “What was I doing?” desktop application and this website. By installing or using them you agree to these terms.
What the application does
The application records the active window of your computer (application, window title and a window snapshot), classifies snapshots with an AI model and builds reports. It stores data on your computer and has no servers or accounts of its own.
Your responsibility for recording
You decide what is recorded. Use the application only on computers you are entitled to use and in compliance with the law and with your employer's rules. If you record the work of other people, you are responsible for obtaining the consent that the law requires.
AI output can be wrong
Categories, descriptions and task numbers produced by AI are suggestions. Small models can invent task numbers. Check reports before you use them for billing or for decisions about people.
Network use that you control
The application connects to the internet only to download the AI engine and model when you install them, to check for updates (once a day, can be turned off) and to services you configure yourself. See the privacy page for details.
